Description
This action strengthened the cultural tourism industry around historical sites and locations linked to the black slave trade and slavery in Africa and the Caribbean. The project strengthened the professional skills of the sector operators and improved the creation of quality cultural goods and services, integrating the offer into the tourist distribution circuits.
Results
- The remembrance sites and locations are better developed, protected and enhanced thanks to: rehabilitation works; exhibitions, signposting, visitor materials;
- The cultural tourism offer is enriched and the history and remembrance sites and locations are at the heart of a cultural and tourism dynamic;
- The visibility and resources of the cultural tourism industry have been increased.
